I first sought treatment for acid reflux with herbs and acupuncture when I was 6 months pregnant. Diet and lifestyle had caused the acid reflux that was quite severe and had been going on for a year. I was prescribed medications for this problem but they were not very successful. Even with drastic diet changes and stress reduction techniques I needed more help. In addition to the acid, I suffered from fatigue and frequent colds. Also, I was experiencing horrendous leg cramps so that I could barely walk and my calves felt like rocks.
