Kate founded Kate Ruma and Associates Acupuncture to educate the public about the benefits of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine as an integral part of today's health-care system. She has had abundant success in treating patients with a variety of ailments. Kate has has published an article titled Acupuncture Proven to Increase Chances of Getting Pregnant, has held a teaching position at the New England School of Acupuncture, and has completed clinical research in gynecology at Harvard Medical School and The New England School of Acupuncture. She supports the Board of Directors at the Center for Cancer Support and Education providing acupuncture and herbal services for those healing from cancer.

Brette Luck, MAOM, Lic. Ac.

From both personal and professional experiences, Brette has found that a wide variety of autoimmune disorders respond well to acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She enjoys treating patients with autoimmune related chronic problems and seeing them derive overall quality of life improvements.

Along with having a passion for treating people with autoimmune disorders, Brette has had a passion for women's health care for many years. Before becoming an acupuncturist, Brette was a researcher and worked on five National Institutes of Health funded clinical studies including one to develop a noninvasive technology for cervical cancer detection. Additionally, her experience as a mom of two has helped to give her a greater understanding of the physical and emotional changes of women before, during, and after pregnancy.

Caitlin Isbister, MSTOM, Lic. Ac.

Caitlin first became interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine after she received her B.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University at Buffalo. After researching various forms of medicine, she found that acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine resonated with her the most. Caitlin finds the strength of Chinese medicine to be its ability to treat the unique constitution of each individual, with a subtlety that allows it to appropriately complement Western medicine. Her areas of specialty include stress and sleep disorders, pain management, and women's health issues & infertility. She is currently taking part in the Boston Medical Center Acupuncture Residency Program in the Department of Family Medicine.

In addition to practicing Chinese medicine, Caitlin is a third degree black belt in Taekwondo, and enjoys yoga and qi gong.
