Caitlin Isbister, MSTOM, Lic. Ac.

Since Caitlin was a child, she has always been interested by various facets of Asian culture.  She pursued this interest, in part, by achieving a third-degree black belt in taekwon-do.  After graduating with her BS in Medicinal Chemistry, Caitlin found that acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine resonated with her more than other types of medicine.  She subsequently received her MS in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago.  Caitlin has practiced in the Boston area since 2008, including holding a residency at Boston Medical Center in the Department of Family Medicine.  Caitlin’s areas of expertise include pain and stress disorders, fertility, headache and jaw disorders.  Caitlin is also a reviewer for systematic reviews conducted by the Samueli Institute, a research organization focusing on well-being and healing.
