Kate Ruma, MAOM, Lic. Ac. is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, certified by the National Commission for Certification in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and has a Masters in Oriental Medicine. She has over 15 years experience treating fertility, back pain, sciatica, allergies, sports injuries, digestive issues, headaches, chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, pediatrics and more.




Kate founded Kate Ruma & Associates Acupuncture to educate the public about the benefits of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine as an integral part of today's healthcare system. She has had abundant success in treating patients with a variety of ailments. Kate had an article published in Acupuncture Today titled Acupuncture Proven to Increase Chances of Getting Pregnant, held a teaching position at the New England School of Acupuncture and completed clinical research in gynecology at Harvard Medical School and The New England School of Acupuncture.
